The Apostolic Church! The Cross is the key to the Kingdom of God! |
The Word of God recommends us to examine ourselves if Jesus Christ is within our spirit and our deeds. 2 Cor.13:5. For some time ago I was in the presence of God in prayer and The Holy Spirit revealed that people all over the world for several years have been crying for revival. The Spirit of God also said: "How can people, who are crying for revival, think that they might experience a revival if they repel the Cross which is the foundation of revival." Rev.3:14:22. My prayer and confidence towards our Heavenly Father is, may the message of the Cross of Christ be made alive by the Holy Spirit so that those who are reading this might be able to use the Cross of Christ, which is not of a fleshly nature but mighty before God to break down all of the evil of the devil. |
Several times the Holy Spirit has revealed and showed me a spiritual mighty vision of The Cross of Christ. ut from the Cross the love, the purity, the peace, the happiness, the righteousness, the understanding, the forgiving, the humbleness, the gratitude, the grace, the mercy a.s.o. of God was shining. Every time when I have been looking upon this Cross I have seen how the Word through the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ become alive and that Jesus Christ day by day conquered the evil of the devil and with His Cross won a complete victory of the devil on Golgotha and I heard in the spirit Jesus saying: "It is accomplished!" John 19:30. The Spirit of God enlightened me especially of the fact that, when Jesus Christ was carrying His Cross,He wanted to show us the way to enter the Kingdom of God. I was also reminded of these Words of Jesus: "No man is worthy of me who does not take up his cross and walk in my footsteps." Matt.10:38. Then the Spirit of God said to me: "Without this cross alive and active in the Spirit of man no man will never inherit the Kingdom of God." There is nothing in heaven or on earth that are to be compared to the Cross of Jesus Christ because with the Cross Jesus Christ conquered the devil and all of his wickedness forever. EarlierI had along with many others the wrong interpretation that the Cross is from the devil and that the Cross is a burden. Now I was able to see that this interpretation is of antichrist. Now I could see the Cross as a Divine help that deliver us from all our burdens and our problems. The Spirit of God enlightened me of the fact that there is nothing in the entire Gospel of Christ, that satan and the lukewarm christians hate and loathe as much as they hate and loathe the Cross of Jesus Christ. In the Spirit I was also able to see that satan does all within his power to mislead the lukewarm christians in purpose to prevent them from taking up their cross Paul explains to us this trick of the devil : "For as I have often told you, and now tell you with tears in my eyes, there are many whose way of life makes them enemies of the cross of Christ."Phil. 3:18 When I asked the Spirit of God what it meant that "there are many whose way of life makes them enemies of the cross of Christ" I got the answer that the Cross has two sides. The dark side of the Cross always creates a hostility towards God and it belongs to the lukewarm christians and to the people in the world below, who in their spiritual blindness look upon everything as something heavy, painfully and sad. These people constantly complain about their misfortunes and trials. They constantly accuse their fellowmen and misunderstand the Word of God. They judge and condemn their fellowmen. They masquerade themselves into children of light but are unclean and evil in their spirit. 1 Tim 4:1-2, 2 Tim 3:1-5. The light side of the Cross of Christ is of a great help to the rescued and the sanctified ones. In 1 Thess. 5:16-18. Paul refers to the light side of the Cross of Christ: "Be always joyful; pray continually; give thanks whatever happens; for this is what God in Christ wills for you." Many confessing christians have not understand that the Spirit of Thanksgiving is able to move mountains, when we allow it to be active within our spirit. We cannot experience a change in our lives as christians until we humble ourselves and begin to thank the Lord in everything we meet in our daily lifes. Many Bibletexts tells us that God is not able to make us go one step forward in His Divine plan for us until we accept whatever we meet with a true thankfulness towards God. Jesus did not promise to change the circumstances in our lives, but He promised true peace and happiness for those who in full trust lay their lives in the Hand of God and are aware of that God is the supervisor of everything and He has the Power. Jesus encourage us : "Do not be afraid; only have faith." Mark 5:36, Luke 8:50. Jesus said to his disciples when it comes to trials and problems we meet: "The thief comes only to steal, to kill, to destroy; I have come that men may have life, and may have it in all its fullness." John 10:10. Jesus is here speaking of the devil as a thief and it means, if we meet something of a negative kind it is from the devil and it is his purpose that we might get depressed of sorrow, suffering and despair. But if we in these times of despair begin to thank God according to the Word of God, that He is with us and give us strength to overcome the evil and in faith and in our deeds let ourselves be filled by the love, the purity, the peace, the joy, the humbleness and the gratitude of God within our spirit, the devil and the evil will not have any power in our lives because the Word of God says, regarding Jesus Christ: "On that cross He discarded the cosmic powers and authorities like a garment;" Col 2:15. In a true thankfulness towards God and Jesus Christ you will experience a Divine power within your spirit. A Divine power that crucifies the evil. It will be a deliverance that give us the full sharing of the life of God and Jesus Christ in a full happiness and peace. Paul is describing the power of the Cross with these words in Rom 8:35-39: "Then what can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or hardship? Can persecution, hunger, nakedness, peril or the sword? We are being done to death for thy sake all day long as Scripture says; we have been treated like sheep for slaughter, and yet, in spite of all, overwhelming victory is ours through him who loved us. For I am convinced that there is nothing in death or life, in the realm o spirits or superhuman powers , in the world as it is or the world as it shall be, in the forces of the universe, in heights or depths, nothing in all creation that can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." When I saw this vision of the Cross of Christ, the Spirit of God also revealed the sad fact that the devil during a couple of hundred years intensively hawe been trying even to blind the rescued and try making them look upon their Cross as something heavy, sad and painfully, instead of thanking God for that Cross, which they have to take up. Now the Spirit of God showed me a completely different side of the Cross of Christ. Now I could see the spiritual foundation and power in the Cross of Christ, which consisted of the mighty love, purity, righteousness, peace, happiness, grace, mercy, humbleness and gratitude of God. In different kinds of reference books the Cross is described as a: "Symbol of the love of God." It is true that the love of God is within the Cross of Christ, but the Cross of Christ is no symbol and that description is of antichrist, because the Cross of Christ is a divine living active power for those who believe. Paul did not look upon the Cross of Christ as a symbol. No, he saw, that the Cross of Christ was the only way for deliverance from everything that the devil might bind and capture us with. In 1 Cor. 1:18 Paul writes: "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." The cross has always been and still is, according to the Word of God, a power constantly present and active as a divine help in the lives of the rescued and the sanctified ones. The Spirit of God enlightened me of the fact that crowds of lukewarm christians all over the world are longing to enter the Kingdom of God. But since they are not willing to listen to the Word of God and not willing to pay the price and sacrifice their old human nature, they will be locked out of the Kingdom of God. They are not searching for Christ within their spirit but searching for Christ within their old human nature and within their flesh. They are keeping strictly to the law when it comes to the religion and are living in a selfish way. They are not acting out of love, neither towards God nor towards people, but they are acting out of love towards themselves and with that love they want to get advantages in heaven. These people constantly repel the Cross and the Holy Word of God and they always declare in spiritual blindness that no one can be perfect before God. In support of their statement they refer to Paul when he proclaims that before the Cross broke down his old human nature, before he was sanctified: "The good which I want to do, I fail to do; but what I do is the wrong which is against my will;" Rom. 7:19. In their disobedience and refractoriness they don't want to accept these words of Jesus: "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matt. 5:48. The Spirit of God revealed to me the difference between the lives of the unrighteousness and the lives of therighteousness and took me to the prophecy of the book of Daniel 12:10: "Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand."Daniel 12:10. The wise shall understand the message of the Power of the Cross, but the wicked are not able to understand the possibility to receive a complete freedom through Jesus Christ and through the Power of the Cross. They re not willing to admit that through faith in Jesus Christ and in the Power of the Cross Paul experienced a change into a new spiritually life and he was able to say: "The life I now live is not my life, but the life which Christ lives in me." Gal. 2:20. When I saw this vision of the lukewarm christians the Spirit of God took me to the book of Revelation, to the prophetic Word of God, which shows us how difficult it is going to be in the end of time for people, who want to find the way to salvation and sanctification, referring especially to these Word of God: "And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die and death shall flee from them." Rev. 9:6. The Spirit of God also revealed to me what this Bibletext means: "Men shall seek death, and shall not find it. It is because many of those who preach the Word of God nowadays are afraid to get into conflict with the lukewarm christians and the preachers do not dare to speak openly about the Holy Truths of God, which lead to sanctification. Instead they are turning away from the Word of God which says: Aim at peace with all men, and a holy life, for without that no one will see the Lord."Hebr. 12:14. In their cowerdice they fear men more then they fear and obey God. All of the time they are beside the Holy Truths of God. The Truths that Jesus was preaching . The Truths that Peter, Stephen, Paul and the other apostles were preaching. Because of the spiritually lukewarmness in the preaching of today, the people are not able to find the death of the old human nature and the resurrection in Jesus Christ that is described in Rev. 9:6. That is, they cannot find the death and the resurrection Paul is describing in Gal. 2:20: "The life I now live is not my life, but the life which Christ lives in me." The Spirit revealed to me, that many of those who confess themselves as christians only speaks of the Cross of Christ on Good Friday and on Easter. They do not understand that the rescued and the sanctified ones have to take up their cross every day because the devil attacks the believer every day. Paul was aware of the significance of the Cross and of the cunning of the devil and says in 1 Cor. 15:31:"I die daily." Without the Cross Paul would not have been able to experience death within his old human nature every day, as he proclaims, nor would he have been able to experience the resurrection in Christ every day. Paul's confession in Gal. 2:20: "The life I now live is not my life, but the life which Christ lives in me." is in accordance with the text in 1 John 4:2-3: "This is how we may recognize the Spirit of God; every spirit which acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit which does not thus acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is what is meant by 'antichrist';" Many confessing christians are today in their preaching and in their conversation with each other speaking of a resurrection in Christ after the physical death. But the Word of God are in several parts in the Bible through Paul speaking of a spiritually resurrection in Jesus Christ before the physical death. Paul reminds the Romans of our death and resurrection in Christ while we still are living in this world belowe : "For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ webelieve that we shall also live with him.." Rom. 6:5-8. The Cross is creating communion in our spirit with Jesus Christ, but not until our old man is dead. So that we might not misunderstand the Power of the Cross and its significance, Jesus took a corn of wheat as an example and said: "Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit." John 12:24-26. Jesus wanted to convince us in this example of the corn of wheat, about the serious thruth, if the corn of wheat would have the possibility to reject that soil which surrounds it, the corn of wheat would not have been able to die from its old life and it would not have been able to develope into a new life with good fruits. It is the same way for us human beings. In the parable with the corn of wheat Jesus Christ show us that the divine, spiritual life begins within the spirit of man and He explained to His disciples : "The Kingdom of God is within you."Luke 17:21. If we reject the Word of God and the Cross which are the only way for salvation and sanctification, we will not be able to experience any change into a new spiritually life. In Jesus' conversation with the chief priests and the scribes He shows us what a tremendous power the devil is in a possession of through his cunning to blind and mislead us human beings. In the Bibletext you can see that Jesus unmasked the spiritual lives of the chiefs priests and the scribes and He said openly and straigth to them that: "Your father is the devil" and that they choosed to carry out their father's desires. Instead of Crucifying the unclean and the unrighteous that was active within their thoughts and their deeds, they were Crucifying Jesus Christ. John 8:37-59. In His unbounded grace God is warning us, that the devil might do the same to us in these days, as he was doing to the chief priests and the scribes, if we reject the Cross as they were doing, because the Cross is our salvation and rescue. In Hebr. 6:4-6 it says, that those who recieved salvation and: " Forwhen men have once been enlightened, when they have had a taste of the heavenly gift and a share in the Holy Spirit, when they have experienced the goodness of Gods' Word and the spiritual energies of the age to come, and after all this have fallen away, it is impossible to bring them again to repentance; for with their own hands they are crucifying again the Son of God." The Word of God show us that the Cross can be active in two different ways. On one hand to release the good spirits within us. On the other hand to crucify the evil spirits within us. Paul enumerates a couple of bad characters such as : "adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings."Gal. 5:19. Hundreds of thousands of people all over the world of today are crucifying Jesus Christ, not understanding what they are doing. For as long as they allow the evil to exist within ther spirit and within their deeds, there will be no possibility for them to experience sanctification. Nor will they have any possibility to be brought back to repentance, since they again with the evil are crucifying Jesus Christ within their spirit. Paul enlights The Galatians of this condition and says: "That they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God." Gal. 5:21. The Spirit of God especially revealed to me, that our prayers, the sacrifice of the tiths, our preaching and our divine services are completely worthless if we do not allow the Cross to destroy all of the evil within our old human nature and within our spirit. I was also recommended this Word of God: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting." Gal. 6:7-8. Not until the Cross has destroyed our old human nature we are able to say, as Paul said in Rom.8:35-39: "Who hall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." In Paul's speach to the Romans Paul bears witness of the mighty power in the Cross of Christ for those who believe. He is here talking of a power that conquers sorrow, suffering and death. Many confessing christians are not able to see this power, because when the trials are coming, they believe that God has forsaken them. But God is faithful and He does not forsake any one who believes in Him. Listen to Jesus and what He still today is saying to us: "And be assured I am with you always, to the end of time." Matt. 28:20. When it comes to suffering that we might meet Jesus says: "I have told you all this so that in me you may find peace. In the world you will have trouble. But courage! The victory is mine; I have conquered the world." John 16:33. Our weaknesses always depend on the absence of the Cross of Christ. God wants us to make a weapon, a sword of spirit out of every sorrow and trial and with that sword of spirit defeat the evil and with the spirit of love, purity humbleness and gratitude hew the bonds which the devil is binding us with. With the Cross of Christ we have the possibility to change every misfortune, trial and defeat into heavenly victories. That we might be able to experience this change into a new creature within our spirit we have to be willing to listen to Jesus Christ when he exhorts us with his words: "Follow me." Luk 9:59. To follow Jesus Christ means to be willing to take up our Cross every day and in every moment allow the Cross destroy everything within ourselves such as lies, selfishness, refractoriness, disobedience and all things of a negatively matter that we might meet. Only then Christ is able to grow within our spirit and in our lives just like a cut diamond who reproduces the true love of God throughout our spirit. That love which is boundless and full of grace and thruth, the love which in true happiness is able to love their enimies and pray for those, who mock, despise and persecute us for the sake of the Word of God. Then the Word of God is no longer a word on a peace of paper. No, the Word has become alive within our spirit. It is a experience with Jesus Christ, within our spirit. And the Word of God says: "If the Son sets you free, you will indeed be free." John 8:36. 1 Cor. 13:1-13: "I may speak in tongues of men or of angels, but if I am without love... I may have the gift of prophecy, and know every hidden truth; I may have faith strong enough to move mountains; but if I have no love, I am nothing. I may dole out all I possess, or even give my body to be burnt, but if I have no love, I am none the better. Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, do not get offended, rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth. There is nothing love cannot face; there is no limit to its faith, its hope and its endurance." We will not be able to experience the most marvellous thing on this earth, if we don't allow the Cross of Christ to destroy everything within our old human nature that bind us; our selfish thoughts and deeds, all the desire of the flesh and the world, which is contrary to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Not until then are we able to experience numerous of the most valuable of gifts within our spirit and our life, a spirit that is filled with the pure love, peace, joy, humbleness and gratitude of God. It will be a spirit that loves their fellowmen with the pure love of God without any bars and is able to understand and forgive those who have wronged us. It is a spirit who are able to say along with Peter, James, John and Paul and all of the sanctified ones: "The life I now live is not my life, but the life which Christ lives in me." This is the eternal true love given to us from a loved God through Jesus Christ. Gal 2:20. 1 John 4:18, 4:20. My prayer is that all of You who are reading this message of the Cross of Christ might be blessed by God and that You might receive Grace, to understand the Holy message of the Cross before it is to late. God bless You all. Greetings Street missionary Bror Espegren Vretgränd 17 Uppsala Sweden See list of contents. Click here! Back to page 1.
